Biography
Kaleigh Roe is a multidisciplinary artist specializing in graphic design, with a love for weaving visual stories. She was raised in Winchester, Kentucky, near historical Fort Boonesborough, settlement of Daniel Boone, the well known frontiersman. Surrounded by the history of one of the first settlements of Kentucky, an opening to the west, this unique environment, filled with both nature and man-made elements, sparked her imagination and creative journey. Initially trained by the Cohort Fine Arts program in high school, Kaleigh pursued a Bachelor’s in Fine Art with a concentration in Graphic Design at Eastern Kentucky University. Throughout the academic journey, she honed her skills in a variety of mediums from ceramics, painting, and printmaking, to typography and digital illustration. As a result of this variety, there is a depth of research that comes first to create tailored designs with a sincere meaning behind the work. She is equipped to design UX/UI templates for both websites and mobile applications, in addition to creating printed materials such as pamphlets, posters, and magazines. This designer has notable interest in book cover design, animation, and video/sound editing, with an emphasis on integrating visual and multimedia elements. Outside of academics, Kaleigh enjoys fantasy literature, mythology, history and traveling to continue inspiring her creative journey.
